Emergency Paediatric First Aid
This Qualsafe Awards RQF accredited “Emergency Paediatric First Aid” one-day course focuses on emergency scenarios that may face those engaged in looking after babies and young children.
It will help all attendees understand the role and responsibilities of the emergency paediatric first aider, have the ability to assess an emergency situation and prioritise your actions.
Practical skills are assessed by continuous observation by our fully qualified first aid trainers.
On successful completion the attendee is awarded a “Emergency Paediatric First Aid” – RQF certificate valid for 3 years.
Important Notice: In line with Ofsted Early Years and Childcare Register requirements, at least one person who has a current full paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises and available at all times when children are present, and must accompany children on outings. Childminders, and any assistant who might be in sole charge of the children for any period of time, must hold a current full paediatric first aid certificate.
