QA Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (RQF)
This is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification.
This provides Learners with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations that can arise in both adults and children whilst taking part in outdoor or activity based environments.
The QA Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (RQF) qualification has been specifically designed for those who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with an emergency situation whilst undertaking activities, such as sports, swimming, hiking, rock climbing etc.
During this 2 day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, head and spinal injuries, abdominal injuries, external bleeding, anaphylaxis and more. The role and responsibilities of a first aider

Burns and scalds
Epilepsy and seizures
Treatment for hot and cold temperatures
Sprains, strains and dislocations
6 x Practical assessments and 2 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers).
Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (RQF) certificate valid for 3 years as well a plastic aide memoire, both personalised & with Certify Group Centre’s details.
